"The Falmouth club has been hard at work on an accurate model of its local station,
complete with its fine Brunel-type timber roof. Just as the model reached completion the Western Region decided
to modernize the station and replaced this magnificent structure with the more utilitarian concrete awnings
favoured today, and sadly the club set about replacing the glorious structure seen in the photograph to bring
its model up to date."

Station buildings and train shed, the prototype was removed around 1956 and replaced with more modern
(for the time) steel canopies.

The bridge over Bar Road.

Another view of the bridge show Melville Road and the water tower, the prototype was removed around 1967.

A Western National double decker passes the Palm Court Hotel on route to the station. The route number was probably 167 Langdon Road - The Docks.
