Welcome

Welcome to the website of the Falmouth and District Model Railway Club.

We are the oldest model railway club in Cornwall, having been formed in 1951, and always welcome new members. We have always been based in or around Falmouth and value the history of such a famous port.

We currently have two layouts available for exhibitions : 'Helford Valley Railway' (O-16.5) and 'Lower Treluswell' (N).

Our retired layous include 'Tregenver' (OO Gauge) and a Scalefour layout (18.83mm gauge).

Under construction, we have an O Gauge pre-grouping layout and a OO finescale layout of Chacewater set prior to 1963 and the closure of the Perranporth/Newquay branch.

In addition a number of our members also have private layouts in a variety of scales and gauges, including OO9, EM and OO.

We hope that you enjoy your visit and that you will return as we develop the site and add details of our activities.
